"Like Nothing On Earth"
It's going to be published by Ubisoft, so expect Uplay and most likely some form of DRM. This is 20 years after the original game's launch of the hit Amiga side scrolling platformer. Apparently the original Core-Team are behind this remastered version but with the latest generation detail, though remaining true to the classic, that made the original so great. However not one to be so negative, but as a huge fan of the original I'm not liking the remastered dark colours, nor the bad music and terrible voice over!
Still remember playing and completing this on the SNES, the death tower part, that shit was hard back in the day but absolutely loved the game, hopefully the remake will do it justice but can grantee it wont be as hardcore as it was back then, cool news though

Meh, they've changed the style completely..now it's all flashy and fuck yeah Amerika cheesy . The gameplay could still be ok I guess, but it's not what I was expecting to see
Oh well, at least we should be gratefruit that it's not a cover shooter!
im all aboard for this. i trust the original team, flashback was unlike any other side scroller i ever experienced, better imo than another world, il always remember becoming a bounty hunter and taking diffrent jobs and then having to make it through the TV death show alive. so awesome

I never finished either this nor the sequel due to how difficult the gameplay and controls.. I'm hoping this ver. will be easier for me.. Either way, looks like a must buy!!

Wow just found this thread, will check this out for sure when it's out. Used to own Flashback back when i had an Amiga 1200. I never did finish it though (it was too hard/i sucked to much)

But just looking at the screenshots and some "old" gameplay it's very hard for me to judge this kind of game.
I never really played the original for long back then. But that style from the last trailer and the above screenshots doesn't really has much in common with the classic for me.
they say the game's coming to autumn..yet the last video released recently shows no signs of the PC version at the end of it

The game has been some good "reviews" from those that played the leaked ParterNet version and it even comes with the original Flashback as well. I'm definitely looking forward to this
