Some strange cat was inside the flat here in the hallway.
When i came back from walking Kaizen, before i could see it, it fucking attacked him..

At first glance he was bleeding quite heavy, but lucky it wasn't THAT bad afterwards...

Chased cat outside with help of neighbours, but was about to pepperspray and murder it...

He has a wound inside his nose aswell, but can't get a proper picture of that..

Probably a stray, I'm guessing. Their behavior can be very erratic. Most cats would rather run than fight (unless cornered of course). Strays on the other hand can be more peculiar.

I would take some alcohol and clean those small wounds and perhaps (if you haven't already) visit a vet and get some shots.

Don't kill the cat, but I call your equivalent of the ASPCA/RSPCA and get the cat taken care of or put to a cat home.

I know that's the stereotype. But owning both cats and dogs for all my life I've yet to see a cat vs. dog fight. I've seen lots and lots of dogs chasing cats (cats running away) but otherwise cats stick to fighting cats, and dogs fighting dogs. A cat attacking a dog is something I am very unfamiliar with (owned cats and dogs pretty much all my life, and done voluntary work at both a kennel and a cat home (for abandoned/stray cats).

I know it's just the experience of one person, but that's where I'm coming from (and hence myu response).

I've seen two of my cats ganging up on a stray dog once... the dog was at least twice their size but boy were they pissed.

They just kicked him out of our backyard, though.

The poor dog looks terrified, it must have been a demonic cat Razz. I agree with Fisk, it's most likely a stray cat, since they have a behaviour which is completely different from the domesticated ones (kinda like people); they're generally more dominant and aggressive with everyone/everything and often prefer to face the threat instead of stepping back like a normal indoor cat would do.

Hey both cats and dogs are great. The feud between them is an old one. Besides there is worse things than cats like drunk drivers.

Poor puppy. Dog noses bleed a lot. Very delicate vascular tissue. Maxim attacked a fat rat and it chomped his nose and bleed lots. Then it must of got itchy because he pawed it a couple of times and broke it open and got blood everywhere in the house.

I love both cats and dogs. My poor cat has her claws lasered so she can't defend herself but she wouldn't fight anyone anyway. My other cat though.... Freaking bullied our friend's king German Shepard. Shameful

Had cats and dogs, didn't fight but seen it happen with other cats. Always with cats that aren't used of being around dogs.

But I guess that goes for most animals put them together at young age and they'll most likely be buddies for life.

We had a sheep like that, was sick and had to be giving bottle to survive and stayed inside for a while with the dogs and well they were playmates since then. Tho she acted more like a dog then a sheep. Whistling or calling her name and she came, she'd be walking at my right leg without a leash just like the dogs. love animals.

Saus, don't kill cats! Just pamper your dog for a bit! Very Happy

I'm more of a dog person, always was. I now live with a cat for the first time ever in my life. It's a 13 year old domestic female, black and white...My girlfriend had to have her move in with us, cause she is so attached to her....fine :/ While the cat can be fun at times, here is some annoying shit...

Keep in mind that I have clean freak syndrome and OCD about stuff that's out of order/dirty/unkept....

Cons:

- Litter box, it stinks, she makes a mess every day, litter all over my hardwood floors, BAH!
- Puke.... why.... why?! I hate it!
- Annoying mornings and returns from work, she follows me around meows at me, wants attention and to get fed.
- Moaning, cries around the house like a annoying shit.
- Shedding... hair everywhere.
- Takes up the best spot on the bed always, and my GF always takes her side... sorry but I paid a lot for our king sized mattress and I get priority over space, not an animal...

Pros:

- Funny to watch sometimes.
- She cuddles, sits on me, wants to be loved and shows affection
- She makes a funny face when she smells something, her mouth drops open (like that IT'S BEAUTIFUL meme you've surely seen)
- Makes the lady happy, so that makes me happy.

/rant

I told her this will be the first and last cat we ever own, after that I'm getting a German Sheppard. tw1st out *drops mic*

But really "Won't be able to sleep tonight..", WHY?
Things like this are normal, the animal's world is different than yours, deal with it.
Many people are wounded and killed every day, and you're crying for a few scratches on your dog...
