I try, but usual it's Battlefield 3 or Chivalry. I usually play with Fable, Dimas and Drakenreiter.

i should have visited the forum before buying...

So,since i bought this Gem and noticed some real annoying
UE3 texture popup/turning from ugly to good in 2 seconds i have to ask: are there any ini-tweaks to disable that? Did a quick check on the steam-discussions and
their forum but all i saw was some tweaks to get it run on a potato

sweet. been playing this again now that I paid my internet bills again Smile

that is a fantastic patch log even though my class MAA seems to have taken some massive nerfs.

vanguard nerfs are always welcome Smile

oh another thing i've noticed now that i have a new gpu is that the graphics seem to be a lot shittier with some of the settings turned on. depth of field and blur seem to hurt graphics fidelity massively.

The MAA feels a bit smoother now actually. I like it. Arrows fly faster now, which makes them feel a bit more brutal and I guess easier to hit with. Smile

Finally played with the new patch. I don't really like what they did to Sword of War (slower stab, less overall damage), i think knight swords were the most balanced weapons in the game anyway. Fortunately the weapons i use most (grand mace, maul, poleaxe) are fine.
Also met quite a lot of raging MAAs, mad at getting killed easily due to changed mechanics.

The new patch fially makes MAA actualyl lose stamina. Previously i almost never ran out of stamina, now it happens a lot. Glad they fixed the server filter quirks when it saved your settings for third person view only.

Its amazing how much fun a limb chopping simulator is even after 100+ hours.

MAA is still king in 1 vs 1, and even 1 vs 2 in competent hands. Even with the increased stamina drain you can dodge back - run forward - stab, rinse and repeat until they fall. Managed a 37-8 today in TO, as broadsword MAA - and i'm not familiar with the class, i usually play knight.

Yep, maa in good hands is epic, but I still think vanguard is the one that people who value high scores/clan members gravitate towards the most.

But yes, nothing looks cooler or makes a skilled player looked better then really good MAA skills, imo.

Didn't that Deadliest Warrior show stop airing after a few seasons? Their matchups and "reasoning" were always either hilariously nonsensical or extremely biased.

To be honest, this thing sounds like a "movie game" cash grab. As much as I love Chivalry, I'm not expecting much from this.

Tbh, after playing some War of the Roses since the last Humble Bundle, I would definitely say
War of the Roses >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Chivalry.

They are almost exactly alike except War of the Roses has that little bit more customizeability and stuff than Chilvary does + Conquest game mode which is pretty darn good fun aswell.
