That's why we need an image host for ourselfs, i know a good host that is cheap and has no limits (with bandwidth) but i can't do online payments..
That way we can setup the image host so that it provides us with perfect size thumbs for the forum and auto generates links that direct directly to the full image.
So it becomes as easy as, upload -> copy code -> paste and done, without having to hassle with big pics, pics loading slower and causing page to jump and so on.
I have the image host script (just need 1 or 2 edits), the host is the only problem, the one i'm using now has 60GB limit

I already posted these some time ago when I couldn't find a host that would let me upload those downscaled Crysis screenshots. I ended up using the second one since I seem to have the best upload speed I ever had on any website like this, it lets me upload quite big screenshots and I can post direct links. I said before that I will not use thumbs. I don't like them and I don't see how they're any better than just posting the screenshots in full size. I also have pretty good internet, so the pages load pretty fast, but it still annoys me. I hate scrolling through these long pages to be honest. I will post mine in full size and in spoilers from now on. If you people decide to skip them because they don't contribute to the huge size of the pages, then so be it. I think this thread would look much better if all screenshots would be spoilered and the pages would just have a normal length because of the simple posts. If you want to see the group of screenshots someone has posted, you open the spoiler and you see them. The "Oh, but you know... it's a screenshot thread!" is such a lame excuse in my opinion.

They disabled direct link to our forum, i noticed this like months ago already..
Anyway, imma see what i can do to get that host for us up and running, i cannot promise anything as i'm depending on other people for this..
It's not the ~€6,- or ~€12,- per month that is holding me back, just can't do online payments atm

Isn't that Clear Sky?
Yes, too many clicks. When you open all those screenshots in tabs and then click them all the second time, it really adds up.

You're finally playing that mod
Strangely the release I used back then (1.0.9.9 I think) was quite stable except if I entered a certain map through a certain entry area.
It was tons of fun though

As a minus user (and owner of a crappy line), I approve the big thumbnails

Some ArmA III alpha, the game is almost photorealistic at times:
(click twice for full-size, I've used the free camera commands for fun )
