I was already wondering why nothing bad is happening lately, I mean my tenant just died, I have tons of work to do and etc. etc. etc.

I was on my way to school this morning when my car just died in the middle of the BIGGEST FUCKING CROSSING in "Sindelfingen" (Mercedes-Town, everyone is rushing to work in the morning = fucking rush hour).

dunno what's wrong with my car, the gears don't work, the clutch isn't reacting (or coming back if you push it) and the car is making fuckloads of noise.

...aaaaaaaaaalmost forgot to mention that 3 cars behind me crashed because one of them was staring at me and didn't pay attention on the traffic - !!!!! huge fucking crash Very Happy.

thank god they didn't crash into me, but I'm pretty sure my car is dead and I need a new car ASAP, I can't wait until may/june for my CLA. I'll go to mercedes today and see if they have a C Coupé 180 BE from 2012 or something like that....fuck.

well, you can't see the damage on the other cars on this pic, but whatever... and yea, the traffic was much clearer when I took the pic...

It sounds like you broke the clutch and/or gearbox. Probably 1-7 days work. Fix the car and continue waiting?

It sounds like a clutch kit. As StrEagle stated, probably week or 2 waiting and it shouldn't be that expensive.

I don't know, if the gearbox is fine and doesn't need to be removed to remove the clutch, like 250eur for a new clitch kit and 150eur for the work? But if the flywheel is involved +500eur..

not sure how's the price there though, but considering that you're in VAG country.. xD

Looks like the clutch is completely destroyed and also the part which connects the clutch to the transmission. he said it'll be done on tuesday and it'll cost a bit more than 1000 EUR.

Toss this car away and get a bicycle until your new car arrives (you were buying a new one, right?).
