Not sure if this was posted yet, but there are new nvidia beta drivers today, they don't seem to have anything nice for Tomb Raider but who knows. Maybe someone can check this out since I'm at work right now.

grrr you people and your vpns and me being too lazy to go to the previous pages and check which one youse be using... boo on you!!! THAT SHIT SHOULD ON BE EVERY PAGE UNTIL GAME IS OFFICIALLY OUT!!!
and it doesnt even look that great, with all those clipping issues... so its basically as useful as physx with huge impact on performance and little gain in visual fidelity... great.
At times it looks pretty bad. I'll go with the standard hair.

Well remember that the HD7xxx series are better equipted to handle TressFX then my HD6870.
So JB (or anyone else with HD7xxx series) needs to do a comparisment and post here.
But still, would think that 2x HD6870 also would be enough to handle such calculations...

Even if it performed good, visually it's not great.

Well it's the first time a dev even tries such a thing, I can only applaud it.
@sausje: is that an ingame benchmark?
This ran even on PS360. Does TressFX look so much better to require a high end DX11 card? I think not.

It's between a 5 to 10 FPS hit from what little I've tested.
(Other stuff going on in the game or benchmark makes it a bit more difficult to accurately measure.)
