Yes, that's how I've played the game.

I always thought i was the only one that loved this game.

completed it three times. still one of the best control schemes ever. and it has the awesome bungie gameplay from before they went full retard, where everything is perfectly balanced and challenging.

i had no trouble running it without this patch, bu at least now everyone can enjoy it Smile

Oni fans are few indeed. Just like SiN fans, you know.

Oni was innovative, despite not providing all the promised features. Also had a great story that sucked you in and an addictive combat system. And strange enough, many of the things used in Oni were either never seen again or barely used in the games that appeared after.

This game has problems running on new operating systems? Never knew. It always worked perfectly for me, without doing anything other than installing it. I see it has other stuff too, so maybe I'll try it too since I have the game on my storage HDD anyway.

I don't like that game. I'm more like a guy that also likes such old, not odd, games like Drakan and Severance. For some reason that's where I put this, up with those two.

TY for heads up. I've been wanting to play this again.

Does this support widescreen? I don't care for dated visuals, but broken aspect ratio gets to me.

by broken you mean you aren't capable of pillarboxing 4:3 resolutions on your widescreen or you dont know how?

if its the latter and you are on nvidia, go to adjust destop size and settings in cpontrol panel,

select aspect ratio scaling mode and switch to scaling on GPU. that works for any dx and opengl game i've ever played that had no widescreen.

i did think he meant SiN 1, thats why im asking.

sin 1 was quake 2 with lean keys and basic duke 3d interactivity. Don't remember any wierd stuff with the controls.
