Hmm, for chrome i found the following (the commandline parameter doesn't work):
Go to extentions page -> tick on "developer mode" -> drag and drop extention into exentions tab -> voila!

i noticed a lot of lag, when it tries to adjust spacing of the page (adjusting text and borders into the available open browser size in windowed mode. Also i preferred your way of handling pictures (resize and simple click on image to show original) over mrt's (right click, show image).
Are you still working on this ?
