I dont know what the hype is about Quake
Played the previous ones and while they arent bad, they arent anything special...quake 2 was alot of fun tho

Wo that trailer looks very cool - that huge tripod-spider thing is *wicked* - Speilberg should have used this design in War of the Worlds & not those crappy tripods that just popped out convienently from the ground ;-P

yea but its not confirmed yet. nowhere on raven / quake sites does it confirm this. I'm not sure how close the ties are with nofrag but i thought they were tight-ish but I dont think they'd get an exclusive scoop like this. Still if its true great. I hope the MP is good, those vids dont show a whole lot

i dunno about this game, slightly better graphics than doom 3 but seems to have the same stupid gameplay.

id is not the developer, so it has a chance to be decent! turd maps and gameplay in quake3 - i am hoping this one is better - and with decent ai!

According to Techspot Openboards the subscribers of the PC Gamer Magazine will be getting first hands on the Quake IV Demo! The magazine including the demo will ship at September 21 and will be hitting the newsstands by the 27th in Europe!
