So atm, I have 2x2 Corsair CM3X series, that run at 1333MHz, and I found CMZ4GX Vengeance that is cheap, but is 1x4GB, and is 1600MHz.
Now I know that the speed will be set to work @1333MHz for Vengeance, but will I loose the dual channel mode because it's not paired (three sticks)? I mean, it's still 8GB of ram, so it's better than 4 in any case, but will I loose at performance somehow? I don't plan on OCing or anything like that, so...

I think there was a similar discussion just a while back.
Edit: here
In general, the advantage you get by getting 8 Gb of Ram should outweigh slower speeds and lack of dual channel. Just make sure the memory sticks are of the same voltage at least.

Oh, thnx ^^
I will look out for that

So, after initial shock that was that w8 took ages to boot (I hope that it was just adjusting to the fact that there is extra ram to use), everything seems to work just fine.
I tried setting the voltage manually, but there was no such option, but my MBO configured that by itself, as I see that in CPUZ the frequency is set to 1333 (2x666) MHz, and the voltage to 1.5V so that's that...
But I need help with timings. I remember Werelds told me to fix my timings, but since then I think I flashed my bios and upgraded so that probably changed xD
So this is currently how things are:
What can I do to improve it?
