					| Almost all usenet providers take down Fringe and Big Bang with a vengeance afaik. I haven't found one which won't do it (looking through forums).

Some people don't like that. Many times were I slagged off at private LAN parties when we had a DC++ hub and I refused to have "proper" indexing in the shape of RAR archives. :<
 Good times.

yup, same here. Even though i also prefer if possible to unpack it on my own to be sure the file is as it should.

					| so all these cancellations are because they switched payment method. CO2 didn't charge as often as they'd like.

semi related. Is it actually still worth giving them money? The last couple of weeks I've had more and more stuff that I couldn't get anymore because astraweb sucks the industry's dick now and removed it... :/

 edit:
welp, doesn't matter. They cancelled my account because I was using 2CheckOut and they no longer use it. The only thing I could do is use paypal but even then I'd need a credit card.
Guess that's it for me in regards to usenet for now.

They do not feature ssl though, don't know if that'd be a problem for you | |
