That would be really cool if there is some way to fix it. it gets annoying sometimes. Smile

The cookie to delete is forum_t, that's the one that remembers read and unread topics information. Viewing many topics causes the cookie to get too large, and stop being updated. I'll see if it can be fixed in any way.

I've taken to installing Teiji's "Cookie Manager" so that when it starts screwing up, which is every other day now, I just use the cookie manager to delete "forum_t" cookies in a single click. Start afresh Smile

This has been going on for years, you're late to the whine party.

Can't the forum software check the size of the cookie and refresh it ? I've never worked with cookies.

Since i'm fed up with manually erasing the cookie, i was looking into letting it being done automatically.

Is this the proper option so the bug with cookies will NEVER come back again?

Ho HO Ho,

Let me jump in with jolly good news!

First off, please stop trying to fix it and disable all server-flooding, site-pounding scripts, or cookie workarounds.

The read/unread state will be kept for one hour since you last open a page on the forum. So if you fall asleep, go to the toilet or get lost on your way home you now have an hour before all the unread topics are reset to read, since the last time you opened the forum.

Now give me all your cookies, santa is hungry Xmas Grin
