lolwut? stop it now Waldo Razz Who says no one called the cops? But a russian assassin found dead, I don't think the investigation for that will be too long.

Ummm... dex is the blood guy. so is the asian brony. and no one called him about a crime scene. and even his sister didn't mention it. Mmhmmm. So are stabbings to the heart normal?

also @ dna was faked. you obviously haven't seen spartan. Laughing

I guess you missed the part where Dexter explained that the shooting range was outside of Miami metro's jurisdiction.

Well, actuallty the thing is I'm sure Dexter and Masuka aren't the only crime scene experts in Miami Metro. Also, the guy could've been killed in a different county. Now, the show conveniently puts Dexter's team on every case that might help the plot going on. I think for this assassin guy it was more convenient that it was handled by a different team.

EDIT: damn! ninja'd (I also missed that part Razz so there you are).

It still seemed odd that it would be so easy. I guess it's possible there was no registration or much of a security in this place. By the time the body might have been found, so many people would have gone through the shooting range, that compiling a reasonable list of suspects would be an impossible task.

Still a lot of things would have to come together in a favorable way, but that's normal for movies an TV series Smile
I think they just didn't explain all the circumstances due to time-constraints, which made it all look sloppy in the end.
I am guessing it went the same way with Isaak not making the call to release Hannah. Happened off-screen, so to speak.

How was the episode sloppy? It's Dexter, he probably planned it all out before doing it. And even if he did not, he had to act quickly since Hannah was in danger. As he said multiple times now, it's different with Hannah and he was genuinely scared. As for what happened in the end, it was bound to happen. I'm glad they didn't go for the "two bros on the road" thing under pressure of fans.

Time constraints are the problem, exactly! I think they did a good job considering how much this season has going for it.

Perhaps they introduced too many new characters and plots. Would be cool if it took at least 2 episodes to track the killers down. I'm sure it would seem a lot less sloppy. And we would get to see more of Isaak.

Still, I'm sure they've got their hands full as it is. This season should have more than 12 episodes and the previous two a lot less. Very Happy The dreadful S6 especially dragged to no end.

I quite disliked them but I'm liking this season, despite everything. I think it's mainly because the new characters are (were) much more interesting than the flat Tom Hank's son + Gellar (aka Kristen Stewart's father, in terms of acting) Laughing

Not really. Dexter realized he's a serial killer rather than a vigilante. So it's gonna get wild.

Well it's not quite like that - he always knew he was a serial killer.

Although I don't quite understand how he made the leap from understanding that his Knight Rider is not a separate entity, to discarding his "code". I get the possible idea of "it's all me, so I can do what I want", but the code was always there for Dexter's benefit, dark side or not.

It felt a bit out of character because I wasnt expecting Dexter to be so deluded about his own state of mind.
