I'm using the P2P release and I got it working with the reloaded crack, can I update the game to 1.01 or do I need to wait for a cracked patch ?

but damn i love that bow. so much fun stealthing about and picking off people with it  and nothing more satisfying than some guy seeing you and running off and you do a really quick-aim and release, perfectly leading the target and seeing him crumple to the ground. fuck yeah.

Hmm my game turned very weird now. I got ubisoft servers unavailable, guess they figured out how to block us out, but in single player i couldn't even see the tatoo or crafting window.

More experimentation.
As a example the defaultrenderconfig.xml file has this value.
MaxFps="9999"
so by editing GamerProfile.xml and adding the known command to the correct section one can override this, unfortunately unpacked files are ignored by the game so removing the logo videos or tweaking the game in a far easier way is as of yet not possible.
Anyway.
<RenderProfile MSAALevel="2" AlphaToCoverage="2"
<RenderProfile MaxFps="120" MSAALevel="2" AlphaToCoverage="2"
This overrides that command but the file is saved every time you exit the game thus removing all the added commands so you have to set it as read only / write protected.
Currently I'm using these tweaks but I've yet to verify what works and what needs to be changed.

(By comparing against the default file and copy pasting, lowering the values and increasing them as the presets indicate, if LOD for example is up on the ultra preset and down on the low one then I increase it further, however if LOD Scale is lower on the higher preset and higher on the lower ones I decrease it.)

I keep the save synchronization disabled due to problems like this that can arise but it does still sync some data upon entering the game and then exiting it so maybe that's not a full solution, plus of course if you want to keep cloud save on it won't help at all.
(Does it even do anything on the cracked client though, I am unsure.)

im getting that shit too. if im stupid enough to go to the menu and then come back to the game, im treated with a nice load of fuck you. terrain gone, cant move... the fuck is this nonsense.
i thought ubisoft had moved beyond this crap? didnt they say they had? that they were getting rid of this shitty always online connection bullshit? but now i cant play, all my shit is gone because ive lost connection...

yeah can't save my game, tried and it's now been stuck for 10 minutes in the save menu. Fucking idiotic that online is needed to play singel player. Too bad because the game is clearly GOTY otherwise, imo..

i didnt know far cry 3 came with a free box of faeces with every purchase. I mad. im finally starting to get into this game (and tiger murder in general), and then SUPRISE, ONLINE DRM TO FUCK YOU OVER AGAIN, TROLOLOLOLOL. can only imagine how pissed people who bought this game must be feeling right now. this shits not right, ubi.. come on. you make nice games, stop fucking customers over with shitty service.

FarCry 2 looked better IMO. This game looks too cartoony and blindingly bright
Still having trouble saving the damn game. Also, does anybody know that the default FOV was in FC2?

Tried the game now and it seems to work just fine here, maybe something with the cracked versions?
(But how? Unless they did something on their end server-side but I wouldn't know how that works.)
(Plus Reloaded and similar use their own Orbit/UPlay local system so they should also be unaffected, weird.)
(Unless it's server problems in certain areas of the world, I wouldn't know much about that either.)

Enjoying this game alot! Vaas is the most well-written and deliciously crazy videogame character i've seen in a long time. Hell, he is better than most of the characters i've seen in videogames and movies lately.

It's a site dedicated to well they rip content into Skyrim from other games, that at the side is a commercial to Amazon Japan and certain figurines.
This particular one is from U-Jin "Tales Trilogy" which is a semi-erotic comedy from the early 90's which I found really funny, I never knew they made statuettes of the characters though but I should probably not be too surprised about that.

im not to crazy about all the maoris in the game.. i always have this uneasy feeling that im about to get robbed and left in a ditch whenever i go into any 'friendly' base....
i was driving a car and came across a blocked path with a maori woman at the end of it, and i was so certain it was an ambush i ran the bitch down and got the fuck out of there. this game sure is successful in making me feel uneasy!

He certainly does come across as genuinely crazy though, albeit some of the jokes are a bit weird.
(That African guy Dennis however just reminds me of the reporter from Far Cry 2, maybe it's the similar voice, it's either him or the guy whom drove you to the first village from the airport.)
