Hey maybe someone knows what the problem is, but I just bought a new motherboard and for some fucking reason if I install anything in the B1 or B2 slots it just thinks a little while in the boot and restarts (endless loop)..

I am trying to install 2x8gb and 2x4gb ram on cfg
A1 8
A2 4
B1 8
B2 4

Motherboard max is 32 gb (Asrock Z77 Pro 4)
I have tried switching them around every way possible and then they do work if you dont touch B1 or B2.

Any ideas?

it's not usually a good idea to mix memory like that. Unless they're the same exact models with the same speeds and timings, it can usually lead to issues down the road.

pull all hardware out except cpu and video card and try it..if still broke-pull battery out, reset bios settings to default, change power supplies. If still dont work and memory works elsewhere -its mobo.

Ye tried bios update and flash. Also tried each of the memory sticks separately. still nothing.
I'm going to return it to the shop. though I might get my money back, spent time and frustration Rolling Eyes ...
