EG Review Omega DLC - 4/10
http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-11-28-mass-effect-3-omega-review
The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.

Why couldn't they just learn from The Shadow Broker and make every subsequent content update as good as that one? Everyone loves it. :<

It might be why I still think ME3 is a really nice game, I am too afraid to see the ending after all those bad impressions I have read. |
I'm not a big fan of the gameplay (don't like cover shooters) but I'm curious about how the story develops before the (apparently) catastrophic ending.. Was also hoping that the intense DLC policy could bring some more decent missions but I was a fool.

Yep, that seems to match the SFV I have.
Not sure why it's an ISO though, as it's just a bunch of RARs with a self-extracting EXE.

Mass Effect 3 DLC Package v5 ~7.4GB.
No other DLC/update/patch/crack/coalesced/whatever needed.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."

so even the dlc are outsourced to sub studios and secondary teams?
can they keep anything about that game series stable or in the hands of one person/team?
tell me a single person who worked on one integral part of Mass Effect 1 and now still works on the same part in Mass Effect 3, or future games? Karpyshyn - gone Wall - gone. I'm sure there is no one left.
I believe the writer for Liara has already changed 3 times (its currently a woman again)
The responsibilities are changed like diapers, people move from position to position and are arbitrarily replaced like the cogs they are.
no wonder the whole experience started to feel so disjointed about the time ME 2 came out and it progressively got worse.

I think that it's safe to assume that by now most of the Bioware talents are gone for greener pastures. I wouldn't be surprised if they went to their old colleagues from InXile, Obsidian and so on. Or if they opened their own business. Or left the industry for good.
Bioware it's now an EA brand and nothing else. And i believe that the next year might be the end of the road for Bioware. After DA3, i doubt that there will be any future for the brand.
Just look to Westwood, Origin, Bullfrog, etc. Had the same road. The same fate. Bioware's run it's over. Its place is already taken by Obsidian and Inxile. Two of the last dinosaurs.

There are still a few notables at Edmonton that have been working on the series since ME1. The most obvious ones are Casey Hudson and Mac Walters, but seeing as they are directly responsible for the abortion that is ME3's story, that only shows you what little merit there is in having devs involved in prior games.

I think at this point is fairly safe to assume Drew Krapshyn was the mind behind Mass Effect. When he was lead writer on ME1 the story was awesome, on 2 he was only consultant and the story took a hit, when he wasn't on Bioware anymore for 3, well, we all know how it ended.

As much as I prefer ME1 over the other two, I don't know that ME3 would have been much better with Karpyshyn's intended dark energy story (seeds of which were planted in ME2's plot, notably Tali's recruitment mission). Besides, by all accounts it was Hudson that made the call regarding the space ghost ending, so Karpyshyn still being around would likely have changed little.
The real problem, as I have said several times previously, is that the overarching storyline was never planned out from the start. That was fucking ridiculous, given that it was announced from the beginning as a trilogy. Pulling the story out of your ass at the last minute is not really a sound basis for making narrative-driven games.
