Just read about a young lady here in my country, a rising civil engineer, she got shot in the face while driving her SUV by two criminals who in broad daylight were being chased for stealing.
She survived and i saw the video, next i saw an interview in the hospital, she says 2 cops were right in the corner where she got shot, they didnt help, it was 30 seconds of struggle to shot her and jack her SUV because she launched and crashed with the car in front trying to escape.
She has lost one eye and is in risk of losing the other one... i can imagine how she must feel.
Living here is depressing.

That is very depressing. I hate corruption more than anything on this world.

Truth is, Romania is not that bad, when viewed from world scale. Basically, we're better off than the vast majority of the planet. Still not good when compared to the states or germany, but otherwise, it's not so bad.
