Hmm updated to 12.11 beta 8 with 12.11 cap1 and still getting shit fps
As you see, card usage is minimum:
And cpu is just core1 with a little on other cores:
Now i can only do 2 other things, disable 1 card and disabled HT (with a little increased OC), so gonna test that now, altho i doubt that it will make any difference.

Haha always the same shit, trying 40397289347 different things, but in the end it's usually crossfire xD
Oh well, i can play on 1 card for now (with some framerate dips and lower gfx), that's all that matters!
But how about those others getting low fps, i know they don't use crossfire or....? And how about SLI, anyone with SLI rig can confirm if it is running properly or just as shit?

about that huge patch, it will come at the end of the week not today, so the wait might worth it
The patch should be available on release day for PC. It takes longer for consoles because they have to certify it and whatnot. So hopefully that patch will be avilable tomorrow.
How do you make the game in english? I'm playing it but it's in russian? Followed every step of the installation nowhere does it mention anything like this.
Thanks.

Well from checking the drivers they do have a profile for the game, just not a Crossfire profile, or at least I can't find one.
(And there's nothing for the multiplayer exe file.)
People still stick in the past that TRY and make stupid comments
@JBeckman:
Expected as much, tho for now it's running around 40-60 fps in most area's, so i'm happy for now.
Will be just a matter of days before they release the cap (atleast i hope )

Latest Nvidia beta does show a ~20 - 25% performance increase for Black Ops 2 and AC3 if I remember correctly however both of those titles are getting help from Nvidia directly.
(I thought Ubisoft and Nvidia usually worked together as well but Far Cry 3 is supported by AMD.)
I guess it's fortunate that they managed to get a profile for Assassins Creed 3 out relatively quickly albeit working out a way to improve scaling might take time thus the lack of Crossfire optimizations even if the game exe is recognized by the drivers.
(You could always enforce it by using RadeonPro or what it's name is to set up a override profile though there might be visual artifacts or other glitches from doing so if there's anything in the current profile code for compatibility.)
EDIT: Or that's my guess at least, negative scaling (Worse performance.) usually indicates something is wrong with the GPU scaling method.
(You are using downsampling as well from what I read so there should be plenty for the GPU to work with.)

With both cards working properly, downscaling from 1440p to 1080p shouldn't tax the gpu THAT much.
As you can see on some prev posts, i tested in 1080p aswell, it was still the same shitty performance (and especially having almost no difference in fps between lowest and highest settings)

Help or not from nVidia, it doesn't really matter. What matters is what the consumer gets at the end. Why isn't AMD offering "help" like nVidia does? Oh right, because their shitty CPU division brought the company to the ground. We all have a laugh at the Batman PhysX crap, but that's all funded by nVidia. What was the last thing, good or bad, funded by AMD? In this day and age of console craploa, GPU hardware manufacturers have as much interest in giving incentives to developers to add PC "exclusive" stuff as the consumer.
Well, it's all combined. I know nVidia sends their developers to help optimize (and sometimes unoptimze for AMD ), but haven't heard of AMD doing this.
I donno how their deal with SE is, but DE:HR/SD and H:A are all AMD "optimized" titles, they could had been working close to someone from AMD with this. Tho i have no idea how the details of their deal are..

In a review for the console versions I was reading, that the player is going to get all equipment, abilities, weapons, armor and so on automatically by absolving the mainquest. So there is no real motivation to play the sidequests, go hunting or explore the huge area - because its pretty useless, you wont find equipment, you wont get experience (this is no RPG, is it?) , since there is nothing you can get by absolving side quests you would not also get by playing the mainquest (including enough money).
Can anybody already playing the leaked p2p version confirm that this is true?
