Our ex president just did a speech to talk about the new taxes and stuff, outrage in the media. Outrage in the people. This isnt looking good. But its looking like people are reacting for themselves. Im starting to get positive that we are gonna push a change.

The poor class is totally weak, just today we saw a "support protest" for the Ex-Pres, when the media went a lot of supporters said that they got payed +- 15US$ and a fried chicken service for going and supporting the ex-pres.
Dont worry i wanted to kill someone yesterday, the Ex-Pres came out saying the Tax Reform was needed because we had a Fiscal Deficit. And that the Fiscal Deficit was NOT because they overvalued constructions and other shit, that it was caused because of LOW Taxes Recollection.
AND THAT IS FUCKING FULL OF FUCKING SHIT, He had governed since 2008, and NEVER in DR's history the Tax Recollection been so big, all the goals to recollect where incredibily higher than all the years in our history, growing by 40% each comming year since 2008.
And guess what? All the goals as exagerated where met and exceeded each year. HE himself praised it. so what the fuck is he talking about? I was outraged because of all people i myself knew these numbers by hand because i work there.
But anyways, yea i wanna get out of here, but i still cant do it, i gotta get ready for it. (Studies, contacts, etc)
Edit: What pisses me more is that all the international institutions like the IMF International Monetary Fund actually praise this fucking asshole. They themselves signed a maximun deficit of 22 million US and the fucking asshole left a wooping 187 million US deficit and these fucking IMF assholes keep praising him. I dont get it.

That's because IMF is a bunch of assholes themselves. Christine Lagarde, the managing director of IMF, basically the person in charge, earns about 350.000£ a year but guess what, her earnings are TAX FREE. Which means, she pays NO tax on her earnings, she is excluded from that for some reason. She's been criticizing Greece and Greek people for not paying taxes, yet she herself is paying absolutely no tax at all.
Just saw a video of a women who was protesting in front of FunGlobe, Leonel's money washing machine. a company.
Some women was puting her candle on the sidewalk and someone from inside the company came out, threw the candle at her face with all the hot melted thing, and the whole thing blew up, now they said the guy wasnt a company worker... hah..
We have no leadership to actually mobilize and organize people. No symbol or guide, only anger and mobs, also we dont have the military support to actually overthrow it, the police and military are 100% behind the gob, using violence and crime if necesary. We need the military to stay still if the people are to overthrow it.
Another incident now, a protest has been under atack by a band of hoodlums, the police let a wave of hoodlums through their barrier and let them atack the protesters with rocks and bats, the protesters caught some of them and they said on national tv that they were payed 10 bucks by someone to go and atack, its being said that it was the gobernment since the police opened the barrier for the hoodlums to go through.
Overthrow the government? If DR is anything like brazil, it won't happen, unfortunately. The (rather small) economic growth we had in the past couple of decades seems to be enough to keep people busy, worried about the "new and improved" debt they achieved buying things...
Clear as hell sadly, i wanna graduate first since i dont wanna risk it and then have to come back and not have a title here, ill do that and ill get some money together and move out, meanwhile i gotta bit the knife and keep pushing through this shitpipe.
