That's kind of what I mean, yet they're still wasting money and resources on the single player aspect of these games instead on focusing 100% on multi player.
Pre BF:BC games had the right idea, skip SP all together and improve as much as possible on the MP part.
Anyway, I'll try this out online as soon as I'm able to... Hope it's fun. ^_^ |

Hear you, played Rouge Spear to death together with SWAT 3. SWAT 3 I think still has the best allied AI up to date.

Ofc, but i did mention "IF the drivers/caps work properly".
Since this game is rather new, caps will come out on the next update (could be days or weeks from now), but this is usual for non AMD titles.

If they made proper military shooters with a long campaign, decent story and solid underpified shooting mechanics like the first two Call of Duty/Allied Assault I'd even buy them. The problem is, nowadays nobody wants to invest resources on the single player component since people barely play it.
Developers prefer to put a horrible, poorly made SP campaign just because why not, it costs almost nothing and can bring more money. At this point I'd prefer having a proper bug-free multiplayer than such a half-assed hybrid. |

What's pathetic was (I wonder... ) the amount of bugs present is a few weeks before the release and you better well believe that many problems still remain in the PC version, if BF3's release state is anything to go by.
The sad part is that I'll bet that the console versions will probably have a significantly inferior amount of bugs.

Speaking of BF3, there are alot of people comparing them...tbh I dunno how you could since the games arent very similar apart from the game engine.
I mean, ofc the settings are similar - but the feeling/action doesnt feel same at all. This could imo be more compared to CoD when it comes to gameplay.
Atleast thats how it feel so far (the MP is even more CoD)

EA didnt send any copies to the reviewers ahead like they usually do. Proberbly cos they are scared of getting bad reviews..dunno.
