I am not sure, there were always german subs everywhere, sounds more like a copyright problem?

Just click the english flag if you do not want to see the swedish subtitles, and then just search for whatever you want subtitles for. They update pretty regularly.
edit: Or you can just go straight to http://www.engsub.net/ ... same subtitles, same site, pretty much!
