Funny thing is that RBR doesn't look that bad, even these days. At least I hardly watch the detail anyway, your focus is mainly on the track Smile

And still infinitely superior to this piece of shit or the Dirt pieces of shit. Sounds better, handles better, has actual rally in it along with some actual rally tracks rather than motorway-wide tracks.

Yep, and it's kinda sad that the most sophisticate and realistic rally simulation ever is.. a PS2 game.

All looks very arcadey, maybe there will be a more realistic mode too but I guess they're aiming at the the same audience that loves Dirt so..well we're all fucking then.

Well I don't know if you've tried them, but all the recent SBK and WRC games were pretty damn terrible. Not to mention MUD and Superstars V8 Racing...like I said, great licenses that have been wasted. (Not that Codemasters would do a better job, heh. Razz)

Anyway, I hope they can somewhat redeem themselves with this one.

Well, WRC3 is deffinitely a step up from WRC2. And a much bigger step then FIFA13 is compared to FIFA12. So, yeah, in your spaghetti face.. Razz

Though Fifa 12 was already a decent game, unlike WRC2. It's easier to improve things when the foundation is bad Cool Face

You are welcome.
Hopefully you are right, I have some stuff to do right now so can't test it.

Looking forward your impressions Wink

Sure it can. Add Ken Block, some "YOYOYOYO AMASIN DUDE", strip out whatever rally is in there and replace it with pickup trucks, Baja, Gymkh....wait a minute, that sounds familiar Scratch Head

Just tried it, it's not that bad. A huge step forward if compared to WRC1&2 both in terms of handling and visuals (although it's pretty unoptimized, ~45fps with everything maxed out Laughing).

It's obviously not a simulation (no shit Very Happy) but at least the roads are smaller and the controls quite responsive. Nothing particularly amazing, though could be fun for some quick races:

Haha well it's way better than Derp 3, it's something Razz

Though if you want a simulation you need to rely on the good old RBR, the highlander of rally games.

oh I just removed RBR as I don't play it that much anymore. Great game n all, The King if you will, but its time has passed, for me. Played the shit out of it.

Better than DiRT 3 you say? Well that is indeed something.
