The review doesn't mention multiplayer whatsoever, so I'm just taking a wild guess. Though I think no one would be surprised if that was the reason.

Are you getting sick of playing games that don’t actually let you play? You know the ones I mean: they funnel you down a narrow path, don’t give you much freedom in what you can do, and rely on cinematic set pieces to drive the spectacle. I am, and that’s why Dishonored is such a refreshing experience. It picks up where games like Deus Ex and BioShock left off, and puts choice back in the hands of the player.

Don't worry, they'll be back when either Halo 4 or BLOPS2 (or both Laughing ) receives 10/10 and all the GOTY awards.

Goddamit. I haven't finished BL2 yet. I have played around 30 minutes of Torchlight 2. And now this and XCOM. I need more time!

So, got my refund from GMG.. Anyone know of a cheap online store, where you receive the key instantly?

Or perhaps if it's possible to somehow bypass location on the steam store, since the UK version is a lot cheaper...
Gamersgate.co.uk

It will be around £25 if you have the derpGN -15% discount.

Thanks man, worked great, and received the key after 10 minutes

Those are nice but there are some spoilers for those whom would prefer not to know fully what "chaos" is and what it affects though I'd consider it minimal myself but many others might probably want to try and avoid learning about that fact. Smile

EDIT:
Ah I misunderstood what you meant then, and yes knowing that info will be very handy.
(Some of the information will be very useful actually seeing how they've designed those systems.)

Yeah, spoiler-free is referring to the story of course. If you don't care about doing a perfect game, like many people here tried to do with Deus Ex HR, then you don't need to know anything about this.

I think this game might be even better than DX:HR. How awesome is that? Smile

Well this is one of those games where you should really experience the gameplay mechanics in game, and not through guides. It is rare we get AAA games with depth these days Very Happy

Well that brief article is not even a guide Razz (I might have used the term "mini-guide" wrongly), just some useful facts about the rules that woudln't be so obvious until you've progressed further into the game. I can already picture some "fuuuu..." from people realizing their playthrough isn't perfect stealth anymore because they encountered some random creature in the environment.

I for one didn't like dx:hr THAT much though. I liked the atmosphere and the looks of the main character. But it felt rather limiting and somehow the entire game felt l ike an extended demo. I liked it, but didn't love it.

If "levels" will be larger and less linear, this will be a certainty for me.

Judging from this Quick Look:

http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-dishonored/17-6654/

The levels are GINORMOUS and filled with multiple sidequests, some are even completely hidden, ie you have to listen to the conversation between two guards/NPCs or find a note mentioning it. Very Happy

Now I've not completed the game yet, but judging from the time I've put into it so far, it's on the same level as the original Deus Ex, except for the soundtrack.
And I think it will end up being considered a classic game as well.

You can buy from GMG for 45$, if you use the voucher.
Not sure if the steam rewards are granted too?
