Ugh.. The hell is up with that imdb score? Pretty poor and forgettable movie, even by kiddie cgi film standards... it actually felt like a stv movie. I DID laugh a couple of times however, which is why it gets a 5.5/10 from me. BIG disappointment.

Finally a movie about religion that doesn't annoy me, based on true events.

So it's watchable. I wasn't sure to trust the score on IMDB.

The Expendables 2 - 6.5/10

It's definitely better than the first one. Overall decent action flick with good action scenes. I would give it higher score but the movie is breaking the 4th wall too often, so you are really watching actors who have fun and not real characters. Also it's full of bad puns and one liners, to a point that dialogs in the second part of the movie are made only by bad one liners.

Mushrooming in English. Quite a pleasant surprise from estonian film makers. Plenty of humor and political commentary. Some bits were a bit boring, but others laugh out loud funny.

but the movie itself was awesome and it was somehow heart-warming to see all these actors together and for me it looked like they had fun and enjoyed making this movie so i give it 7½/10

It's my boy - 7/10. Pretty decent comedy, I expected another flop like jack and jill but there were plenty of lols to be had
Babymakers - 6/10. Some good laughs in the start, but went a bit stale toward the second half. Nowhere near Jays previous work like Supertroopers which was an awesome comedy.

The Untouchables (1987) - 8.5/10 Excellent Law vs Mafia flick and quite amazing it's a true story.. great actors
Goodfellas (1990) - 10/10 The characters (and their actor's performances) in this movie blow my mind. I never thought Joe Pesci could be so fucking scary..lol - also epic story that spans a loooong time.. really there's nothing not to like about this movie.

The Hunger Games - 7 / 10

Surprisingly well-made movie which I avoided like the plague when it was hyped in the media. One of my students told me to give it a chance, and I did - and now am happy to have done. There are some rather large plot holes and details that feel a bit forced, but overall the message in this movie on many levels goes deeper than most movies do. It is some weird combo of "The Running man" and "Battle Royale" while more or less subtly giving commentary about nations like North Korea and USA (yes I put them in the same sentence) all whilst giving a fresh view of science fiction and segregation. Add a strong main actress, and a believable supporting cast and villains and you have quite an enjoyable experience that made, at least me, think about things such as taking things for granted and the progression of society through the ages.

Madagascar 3 - cocain/10

WTF did I just watched. This movie couldn't be any more fast paced, colorful and fast. I know there are deadlines, but Dreamworks don't give anymore cocain to your animators.
Anyway didn't really enjoyed it, some good jokes but it was all too chaotic and seemed patched from random scenes. Strangely violent for a movie for kids.

If they make a sequel at least pick decent directors and writers to do it, or the next one is just gonna be like a van damme or segal movies a lot blood but no plot.
the other know issue is they base ratings on how many people that have seen the movie not how many actually like it...
