Well the PC version uses Steamworks, which means 0day piracy is - these days - impossible. The ISO should leak relatively soon though, given that some stores have already broken release date and started selling copies.

Most of the whole Northeast has 5% sales tax.

I know. I'm debating buying it off intkeys because I don't want to wait, but now you guys got me worried about it being region locked :\

It's not - it's $48-. But you get the game now in your steam library, and preload, and all the benefits of a direct steam pre-order.

Quote: | True but I was under the impression that breaking street date was very risky due to contracts, then again "best buy" isn't a small store chain so they likely won't have any problems for it.
(I haven't seen any stores recently even stacking games up for display before the release date though as far as I've understood it's shipped out like a week in advance so it's sitting in the storeroom for a while, guess in this case they decided to act and start selling it immediately, which no doubt will give a bit of extra profit.*)
(*And this likely means there will be a early leak of the game data and also a PS3 and X360 release soon, if I were to guess, no doubt they are also selling the console versions of the game.) |
Yup, my thoughts exactly.

Arx Fatalis doesn't even deserve the storage space it takes to house the game.
