WTF do you guys need even more keys for?!

Thin, fantastic button feedback, silent, doesn't take a mm too much place and a very very good price.

Buy a bigger desk? Razz Should cost you less than an expensive gaming keyboard.

My desk is bigger than most, but i prefer to have my keyboard relatively close to the mouse. Thnx for the tip Pumpy, that board looks cool. Whats the brand name and model of the keyboard?

I like these chiclet keyboards, but they are way too small, especially the Apple one. I have to bend my hands like crazy to use them.

Same here. I like the keys, I just don't like the actual keyboards. When I use the Apple one I constantly hit the wrong fucking keys Razz

Using this myself:

Logitech Illuminated; my UltraX broke after a few years of usage (spacebar died, as it does on most keyboards). I've had it for a good 2.5 years now I think, all keys still working mighty fine. Not even any wear marks really, you usually get keys fading and such, but none of that yet, so I'm quite pleased Very Happy

@Werelds:

How do you compare UltraX to Illuminated? Does pressing keys feel the same? Illuminated seems to be the closest model to the UltraX.

Pretty much identical. This one gives a bit more feedback, but fortunately not as much as mechanical keyboard (never liked that) - I like it better than the UltraX. The system keys (CTRL/Alt/Win) have a slightly different shape, I actually prefer the old ones. My only real grief with it is the retarded pipe/slash next to the left shift, would've much preferred a wider shift button.

Other than that though, extremely pleased with it Smile

Aren't keys engraved to prevent washing away of the paint?

Yeah the letters are, but you usually get the top layer fading away on the spacebar and such as well, but none of that on this one.

I find it odd that there isnt more gaming keyboards without numpad. Id imagine my problem is common among atleast some gamers who prefer to have their hands infront of them and not to the side.
I dont wanna pay too much for a keyboard without numpad but with lots of other features I dont use like programable macros etc

Get mechanical keyboard, there is plenty of models that are without numpad.

CM Storm Quickfire Rapid (Cherry MX Blue, MX Black, MX Brown). Its priced at 80 dollars. There is also models from Filco and Ducky, but they cost way more.
