I don't have enough memory to utilize multiprocess rendering in Adobe After Effects
Apparently 4GB is not enough -.-"
I can't wait 5 hrs for a crappy video that lasts 3:35!
I need to buy extra memory :\
If I mix one stick of 1600 Mhz memory in my comp that has 2x2GB of 1333 Mhz memory, only thing that will happen is that the stick with 1600 will run on 1333 Mhz, right?
Because I cannot find the type of memory I have anywhere :\
EDIT:
Ok, where is the fucking logic?!
2 sticks of 2 GB (the one I have) costs ~300 kn which is around 40€, and one sick of 4GB costs around 18-20€!
Why?!

Coz the 2GB sticks are probably no longer being manufactured thus harder to get a hold of ?

:\
It's like memory sticks are made of rare metals, and if they are no longer being produced, their value is greater no matter whether they're worse than the newer model...
I knew I should have kept those old DDR1 ram sticks xD

You most likely have DDR3 so DDR1 RAM won't help you.
And where does 2x2GB cost 300 kn? They are as low as 158 kn while 2x4GB go for 329 kn.

I found my RAM, or the next best thing at H2 shop (nowhere else)
And the 1x4GB is:
I'll prolly go with the second one...
I was planing on getting extra ram.

100? they cost 220 in ADM...
But I'd like to buy XMS3, since I already have 2 pairs of XMS3 memory. Is it smart to mix those two?

So how is more memory helping you to render any faster?!

Aaahh, za 100 kn manje, that makes more sense I'll probably go with this:
http://www.corsair.com/memory-by-product-family/vengeance/vengeance-4gb-single-module-ddr3-memory-kit-cmz4gx3m1a1600c9.html
Around 170 kn (~20€)
And Pumpy, I was wondering that also, but After Effects will limit multiprocessing if you don't have enough RAM...

Which resolution? I have just 6GB and after effects never said not enough mem.
Did you check your application settings? You can assign more memory to after effects. I assigned like 2GB and never had problems. How do I check if it is not multi core rendering?
