=D, ive always wanted to ask someone "what the hell do you like about your car feeling like shit and driving like shit and being noisy as hell?" Ive never understood that.... in my country the most famous "tuning" fad is stores that sell shit like tow hooks, colored lug nuts, etc, and people buy all this crap and put it on their cars, "jdm style" my ass. Looks like shit, its dangerous (aluminum lugnuts of the lowest quality), cheap springs that fuck up spring rates and damping etc....
People sure as hell are weird... i dont like this sheep like behavior to appeal to others.

Most people 'tuning' cars aren't doing anything that resembles 'tuning'. They just throw shit on their car because they think it looks cool.
I really hate how fast and the furious and other bullshit ruined and mainstreamed the automotive tuning world with so much bullshit. The real gear heads still stick together at least though.

I have nothing against the visual styling really, my bro and sister in law do it as well, but they actually do it for the visual aspect (and win prizes at shows for it as well), they don't roll up next to you acting all cool

See, I have no problem with that though. You are restoring the car to original specifications. That's awesome.
What I have a problem with is people who buy some shitbox and then slap on a triple decker spoiler and 19'' wheels.

You know what's funny, I actually knew of the guy who owned that car. He was at a car meet I went to. Thing sounded like a whale's fart. The build log for it that he did on the forum we were on was pretty interesting though. Did a lot of fiberglass work. He has skill, just no sense of style lmao

Well, around here this is the worst we have to face :
Dacia (54 bhp) tuning ! As a car, Dacia was ok, easy to fix, reliable and cheap. But now we have rednecks who inherited the Dacia from their fathers, played NFS, then decided it's time for "tuning". The problem is their ego, they are hellbent on overtaking you; the better your car, the bigger their determination. Obviously, this goes on until you get bored and push the pedal on your Corolla / Avensis/ Focus / Astra / Insignia / Golf / Passat / Octavia (to name a few common cars here) and leave them far behind.

I get civic 'tards all the time as well. They usually shut the fuck up after they see spurts of flame come from underneath the car out the dump tube while bouncing at 3200 RPM's for launch control.
