It's on PC, if you'd actually listened to what they said you would've known it.

That doesn't mean it wasn't played with derptroller. The game journalists don't know how to use keyboard and mouse anymore.

Great, now I can see the class I want to play as in another 1 hour video! I watched the whole video from Gamespot. Laughing They showed the Mechromancer for a bit, in the quite early stage it is now, of course. It's not even textured, apart from the face. A lot of the skills are missing and those that aren't are unfinished.

Now that Borderlands 2 has gone gold and we've shifted our efforts to post-launch support of the game, we have some exciting news to share about our plans for add-on content.

After the release of the game, four brand new add-on campaigns for Borderlands 2 are coming your way, featuring new areas to explore, new adventures to undertake, new enemies to overcome and more. Priced individually at 800 Microsoft Points for Xbox 360 and $9.99 on PC and PlayStation 3, these four campaign add-ons are scheduled to hit by June 2013 with more details to come in the future.

Soon we'll be offering a "Season Pass" bundle that includes all four campaign add-on packs for 2400 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360 and $29.99 on PC and PlayStation Network -- a savings of 25% over buying each campaign add-on individually. The Borderlands 2 Season Pass will be available through Steam, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live and will also be available at GameStop.

NOTE: The Borderlands 2 Premiere Club and other pre-order items are not included in the Borderlands 2 Season Pass. For more details about the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club and other pre-order items, please visit

Season Pass announced and detailed

Just like BL1, BL2 will have 4 major addon campaigns and they'll sell for $9.99 each (€9.99 Rolling Eyes) -- or you can buy the Season Pass for $29.99 (€29.99 Rolling Eyes) It's potentially a good deal, offering 4 addons for the price of 3, but still... that's whether or not the addons are worth getting. I loved the 3 "major" addons for BL1, but Mad Moxie's Underdome Riot was trash IMO Sad

~edit~

Damn you JB! Laughing

There's no way in hell I can WAIT and NOT play Borderlands 2 until June 2013 and/or GoTY release. No chance. I'm going to binge and play the fuck out of the base game... and then use addons for subsequent playthroughs Very Happy

The Underdome was still more fun than the Claptrap DLC which was so fucking boring. I almost felt like killing myself when I played that. It wasn't fun, it felt like working on something you hate. Anyway for me it doesn't matter how good the expansions for Borderlands 2 are. For me, the whole game is not worth buying until they do a complete edition.

Claptrap DLC was done by some 3rd party studio and not Gearbox. That may be the reason why it's so weak.

30 USD isn't that bad for a DLC package, as it are four new CAMPAIGNS and not shittly arena's. 25% savings is OK, and I expect the 30 USD to drop somewhere to 25 USD or so Smile

Here we go again with the ridiculous addons/DLCs/contents stripped from the game.. Laughing

However, I've never managed to finish Borderlands (vanilla) because of its repetitiveness/weak story, but so far looks like they have improved pretty much everything in this one (PC features included) and added more variety which is what I needed. Please don't disappoint! Razz

No, next year and base game is 80h, nothing stripped. They are making MORE, at least they say and offer it before, unlike DICE that comes up with the idea after they have sold DLCs.

edit: well first DLC will surely hit on Christmas sales and new charters most likely in between the DLCs starting with Nercomanser (as the engine now allows adding more).

In the 90% of the cases, yes. Especially when they're announced before the game even hits retail .

Back in dem olden days an expansion was a given even before a game was announced!!! I know what you're getting at though. In this case however, they're just saying they'll make DLCs, which is natural.

Haha to be fair, I've never particularly liked expansions either, unless they were really well made and full of new interesting stuff.

We don't know the quality of the contents here, though you can't deny that this super-organized marketing plan with DLCs strategically planned and priced so early sounds fishy to say the least Laughing. I totally get that it's a great way for them to make more money, but some customers don't like spending cash on the 70% of a product. Razz

Nice intro if you haven't played the first game (or watched any other videos of 2).

Those tasty nades, mmmm, great idea to have them be randomized as well.

Watching for 10 +/- seconds and it's clearly a spoiler ridden trailer. It's just a month til release, i can wait.

Well it shows a few new enemies and couple new locations, so in that sense yes, but don't think it spoils any of the gameplay. Best of course not to watch anything more about the game until release, if you want the full experience Smile
