But it is amazing how nice this "old" game still is.
The driving physics are still far above Sleeping Dogs model's.
(just have a prob running EFLC 1.2.0.0 right, messing with things at the moment) |
yea it is, two minus in sleeping dogs are claustrophobic city and driving,i played maybe 4-5 hours and got bored,.. dont get me wrong, game is good, but or i'm too lazy for games, or expect more of games,. dunno

The only time a gamepad will trip you up, or at least feel uncomfortable, will be in the shooting sections; the stick just isn't precise enough for running and shooting... and when you're driving/riding and shooting?? Oh man, that's pain.

Once you get used to them, mouse + kb are the best, imo. Not perfect since the camera isn't 100% "free" but much better than all the pseudo-ports around.

Yeah the shooting parts (up until now, anyway) have been hilariously easy - especially if you pick the perk that lets you do a slowdown when you aim.

played it for some 45 mins. I can not understand the hype around this game here. this game suffers from consolitis. and it is certainly not better than gta.

Keep playing, it will grow on you. It is consolish indeed and very arcade (especially the driving model), but also incredibly polished and complete. If you like the genre, you cannot not like it.  |

out of curiousity how come the P2P release hasnt been posted in the nfo list? the skid release & nuke hasnt been put up either. are the dealys on purpose?
either way game looks ok and looking forward to playing it

I like the game aswell, sure its not a GTA but it looks nice, has good effects and gameplay parts.
I used the Xbox pad all the long way till yesterday when i had to shoot some motorcycles on the high way, i wasnt just fast enough to kill them all with the stick. After serveral retries i tried it with my mouse and finished it, besides that the driving isnt that good, way to easy, feels like driving on rails.
Overall i give this game a 7.5/8 out of 10, cause its surely not a bad port, its well polished and supports DX11

I used the fixed 3DM crack and that worked fine. So, the scene says it's a bug?!!!!!!!!!
Looks like we'll have to rely on the russians and chinese in the future, as the western scene seems to be down the drain.

only problem of 3DM crack is that it cant be modified to work with DLC using lumaemu

The Pandora crack and update works with the skidrow release and is now at 1.4

What do you mean pandora works only Just Cause DLC? I've not got the DLC and the game works fine.
Edit: I just loaded the game and went into the DLC menu and it says 'You have unlocked Rico's outfit froom Just Cause 2! Bring some just cause style chaos to Hong-Kong with a boost to the action hijack facility'

He says that if you add the rest of the DLC, they won't be recognized. Only the Just Cause 2 DLC is recognized with 3DM's crack, while SkidRow's crack can activate them all, but you can't start the bloody game with SR crack without crashing instantly.
3DM does not recognize all the DLC's, but you can play the game....
And everyone hopes that bloody Skiddies will proper the crack so we can play the DLC missions.
