From the actors (most of them pretty well known, especially if you watched a few HK movies when you were a kid) to the incredible soundtrack and to a phenomenal atmosphere that sets the right mood, Sleeping Dogs has all the rights to call itself one of the better games released in the last couple of years.
It has almost all the right reasons to be proud of what it accomplished.
As some of you might remember, True Crime:HK was about to have its first female protagonist. Shame that Sleeping Dogs didn't went along with that idea. But, maybe next time it might. Still too few strong female characters out there....
Sleeping.Dogs.v1.4.Proper.Crack.Only.Fixed-3DM
this crack works
Man speaks the truth. PROPER crack for 1.4 that came out from 3DM just today or yesterday finally works for me, after having tried every possible combination of release and patch and crack to get the game past the white screen pop-up crash.
Now I'm finally in the game, loading times take just seconds. Only issue is, can't get the game to go full-screen for some reason. But that's minor compared to me being able to finally play the damn game!
I don't want to get my hopes up, but I can't wait to try it tonight! weee

So I need "Sleeping_Dogs_Limited_Edition_CRACKED-P2P", the 100ish mb 1.4 patch and the proper 1.4 crack from 3DM right?
the pack i got for the update/crack was 1.8 gigs and labeled "Sleeping Dogs Limited Edition (Update 1 4 and Cracked)" on usenet. for me that and the release you listed worked fine. i have since applied the 'proper' from 3dm on top of it all and its still fine.

Still too few strong female characters out there....
Uh-oh, that's the mating song of the famous Lutzipoobird -- you'll summon him!
... but yeah, in all seriousness, it would be pretty good to have a female protagonist in a game like this. Interesting to say the least.
While I generally agree I can see why it would be hard to pull of a female protagonist in a believable manner.
Take Sleeping Dogs for example. The Triads have been and to this day are mainly dominated by men.
Not saying female protagonists can't be done. Just I think it's harder to pull off.

Ah Ha – Take On Me
Flock of Seagulls – I Ran (So Far Away)
Sleeping Dogs Trailer Theme Song:
In case you were looking for the music that plays in the background of the Sleeping Dogs Trailer. That theme song is titled
“Sleepwalking” by Photek featuring Linche.
Wow, now that's what I call a list !
Thanks
List is missing:
Catchy song, not sure why.
Honestly, after having spent 30 hours completing it, I'd rank Sleeping Dogs far and above GTA IV in more or less every aspect except raw city size. It's has a far more focused story (and takes itself seriously instead of hopping between comedy and seriousness), a better combat system, and it actually runs decently.
I'm not sure how much of a budget these guys were on, but they could teach Rockstar a thing or three....
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

9.2GB. I am assuming it includes the HD Texture pack due to the size, but there's no information on the NFO about it, nor if it is patched or not to version 1.4, which is the lastest as of now. And it also has no info about the DLCs working or not.
And:

Remember to block game in firewall. and allow our buddha.dll access through your antivirus program, or else game will not work!
The 3DM (Pandora) crack works without the need of allowing anything, so I'm not sure if I'll "upgrade" mine. Although I'll probably test it, to see if it gives me either better performance or better stability, since all the 3DM cracks on my end tend to CTD randomly.
I also had the random CTD (game just quit) with the 3DM crack and as soon as I blocked inbound and outbound with the Firewall the crashes were gone.
I wonder if Skidrow's works with the DLC and if the save games are compatible.

HKShip.exe right? Thank you for the tip, gonna try it now.
Edit:
Yup, it does seems to fix the random CTDs. Thanks.
Edit 2:
Scratch that. Crashed again for no reason.

so skidrow finally found time to steal someones crack and alter it a bit
Nope, ur wrong as far i see it..Skidrows Crack has a pretty much different approach to teh Problem..these are really 2 different shoes here..
i do think, 3DM did emulate and skidrow did not..
And for clarification..U CANT USE SKIDROWS CRACK over 3DM´s , AGB´s, KaoS or whatever realease..ALso 3dm used these msvcp100.dll etc and teh json stuff in teh pandora folder.. anyway, what i was saying is, u would need to dll teh skidrow realease to test his crack.. i know it sucks..
anyway..for those asking, HD textures, Update 1.4 and DLC´s are working and in skidorws release..
got my just cause 2 clothes..so i guess its all in there..
