Looks like I'm having the same problem 
@Claude: should be the DisplaySettings.xml file in the Data folder, it's the only way to change the settings for me at the moment. |

The crack is based on 1.3, that seems to be why it's causing problems if used on the Steam version of the game.
(That and the save files differ - will be marked as corrupt - so you can't resume but that's standard for all Steamworks titles I believe, I don't know the mechanics but likely comparable to LIVE profiles perhaps.)

I'll wait for the update, the crack on the v1.0 definitely isn't a good mix in my case (freezing menus/not working interface etc.).

Key from Direct2play is fine...game installed on Steam fine....I played this for about 1/2 hour on xbox....PC version with High Res is so much better then derpbox....8/10
