Sure, but my endgame save is with Katarina... so yeah, if you want to play the DLC as Katarina, then here you go;

http://www.multiupload.com/4S30CNUDSW

There's also a few saves in that archive with Anjali - just not endgame.

w00t just finished the dlc, was awesome, took me around 4-5 hours i think; a change of scenery was needed, interesting story and the last boss was entertaining Razz. Seeing those unused causeways blocked, i asume more dlcs are on the way? Very Happy

Tried a few days ago to replay this and my game was crashing just after the logos. Initially i thought that was a driver problem, but it seems that the game copy needs the exact region settings (if it's a US copy, you need your regional settings set to US, if you have UK you need the settings set to UK and so on). Looks like it's an old bug, still unsolved. So here is the workaround as described in the Steam forums(Obsidian couldn't be bothered to at least make a fix for this).

If you are experiencing this issue, first make sure you have installed Microsoft Framework 3.5 and 4.0 and the latest version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redist 2008 and 2005.

After that check your version of the game, it can possible be a language or a region conflict.
Close all applications

Go to Control Panel -> Region and Language

On Formats tab, set Format to English (United States).

On Location tab set Current location to United States

On Administrative tab in the Language for non-Unicode programs section, click the Change system locale button and in the new window again select English (United States).

Click OK and restart Windows when prompted.

Doing this reduces the chances of Dungeon Siege 3 crash problems."

Changing region to US made the difference (note that there is a difference between changing to UK and US, choose US region)

It's nice to see Obs still patching the game, though I really wish they'd put out more content. The game got an unfairly bad reputation and I'd hate to see Obs discard it Sad

Depends on Square, as it's their IP. Personally, I liked the story, though the horrendous camera....

All the bashing of the game comes from the complete lack of connection with the previous games. On its own it is a very nice RPG, but certainly not a Dungeon Siege sequel. It simply lacks the playstyle the series was based on. And I still can't find another RPG that does Party based combat the way DS2 did. Sad

It should've just been called Dungeons of Norrath: Realms of Dark Alliance.

On a side note, did you manage to make the fxaa injector work with the game?
It seems the dll isn't recognized (quite odd to be honest), and even disabling in-game AA doesn't seem to do anything. Razz

I guess that's one of the reasons I loved it so much, because it was just another awesome (subjective, of course) Snowblind game.

I *think* so, it's been a while since my last playthrough but I'm fairly sure inject_FXAA worked.

Seems like my version doesn't like to be injected Laughing . Not a big deal though, I was just curious Razz.

Sorry bud, it looks like I was mistaken. I can't get FXAA working on DS3 at all, the files just aren't detected or used, no log.log file is created and nothing seems to work. This is odd because I could have sworn FXAA worked before - in fact, I'm damn near certain of it Neutral

No problem mate Very Happy. It looks pretty good anyway with AA/AF; it was just out of curiosity, since I'm finally finishing the playthrough that I started months ago Smile (DS3 is one of the billions of games that I'm finishing now that I have some time xD)

Would be the same for me nearly since around about a week ago I uninstalled the game after finishing it one more time alongside the DLC, thought it wouldn't be updated again. Smile

No one expected this late patch, yeah, and yet Obsidian managed to push it. Probably there were some tough negotiations with Square, as the support for the games published by them it's not exactly extended for a long period of time (Just Cause 2 can be completed 100% only with fan mods).

So, finally wanting to give this a proper try Smile But quick question :

when you start playing, they show some message, like you can now add keys for "strafe", which in my knowledge is moving sidewards (like you would in a FPS etc.) but all i see is "move left" and "move right", neither of those is strafing (because it turns the character around and makes them move into that direction), so is there anything that i missed ? Or do they actually think, that is "strafing" ?

Move left and Move right *should* do exactly as they say; move your character to the left or right, strafing since your mouse controls the direction you aim in. If you're aiming to the top of the screen, the bindable move left/right keys should move you to the left/right of the screen. The game initially shipped without that function and a lot of people were mighty pissed, so it was later patched in.

well,it's not strafing, it's just awkward lol.

add:

oh how awesome ... so there are those glowing markers, where you save ...

so i was under the impression, that whenever you pass a marker , your current progress was saved. Like every other game in the history of games and beyond (checkpoint autosave, right ?).

But oh no ... apparantly you have to actively USE them or nothing is done ...

Had to learn that the hard way .. when i lost like an hour of progress, because i never used them ... what a kick in the face ...

This game is really making it hard for me to like it lol. REALLY hard ...

I finished the game a while ago with 2 friends and we had a blast. It's a really nice co-op experience and the story is quite good. I would say surprisingly good, but it's done by Obsidian, so the focus on story is not really a surprise.

It's a bit rough around the edges, though, and I found KB+M controls to be pretty awful. Use a gamepad if you can stomach it - it made the game twice as playable in my case. And, of course, use friends too Wink Game's much better that way.

All in all, it's one of the closest things to an actual co-op RPG (meaning an RPG that's made for co-op from both gameplay and story perspectives) I've ever played.

Yeah, the console focused controles were giving me hard time with the game too. The menus in game like invertory are counter intuitive too. And the characters seems unbalanced playing with melee oriented character was way easier than playing with a mage.
I made two attempts to finish it but couldn't due to the things described.
