If it's so typical, why the high rating?..

His smiley at the end indicates that he really likes Sacha movies.

The Dictator 7.0 / 10

Not his best work but if you like his movies you'll enjoy this one too. Some scenes are just retarded , some insane , some hilarious which is typical for his movies..I had many good laughs. Very Happy

Dictator 8/10. Really made me laugh a few times, and that's rare for today's comedy. But as blam said, some stupid scenes. And not stupid in a good way.

I'd give that one 8/10 cos its my cup of tea.

Edit: I'd like to point out that I rank zombie movies different from normal movies - cos they really cant be compared to modern big budget movies. should I compare to movies like The Dark Knight Rises or similar it would proberbly get like 5-6/10 or so max.

The main theme of the movie is about 12-18 year olds who are fighting to the death, so yes it's violent. If you meant gory then no, it doesnt have much, if any, of that.

yes the first thirty or so minutes were all shaky cam but it worked 75% of the time. i loved the atmo, and i really enjoyed aesthetics. it all worked real nice. and the very little action was still ok action. if you read the books youd like it. if you want a simple movie that has a decent enough story line for a sunday afternoon. Very Happy

I've just watched the extended trailer and got swept away by a tornado of cheesiness, I think I'll gladly pass.

Also the fact that the movie is highest rated by females under 18 kinda gives me a bad feeling

i guess 7/10 - it was still a great movie, but i guess i expected something more... ultimate/conclusive/final.
