my cat brought fleas into the house. 1-2 fleas were in my room for weeks biting my legs from time to time, but somehow i never notice before its too late. now everyone is away from home and the cat hasnt been in for a week. I just came home from a folk festival and Ive caught 8 of them fucking bastards in 1 day already. fuckers must be starving with everyone away for a few days. At least I started to notice when they come for a little snack.
My cat's a bastard. Fuck fleas.

When I had cats, I bought them those stinky anti-flea collars, that worked just fine ^^
If we noticed fleas in the house, we used some bug killer stuff we bought on a local market.
Worked like a charm.

usually when we use something anti flea on the cat, they just decide to jump on to humans. Havent found one for a while now, but they most likely laid eggs. Ill just enjoy the break from them and let my parents deal with it when they return home

^^ best advice.
I read that for every flea you find on your pet, there are 100 more in your home.

Had a room mate once. He ended up being the bass player for Stone Sour for a period, but anyways on topic, he had a cat. It was full of fleas. They were biting the shit out of legs from the knees down. I confronted him. And after him doing nothing about it. I told him for every flea bite there was going to be a knot on his head. He says "Those are not my fleas, those are the cats fleas." I could only get about five knots in his head before he got away. I still owe him a few hundred more.

fleas are persistent little bastards. We got them in our house once, when I was living w/ roommates while going to university (though we had only wood floors in it, they still got everywhere). So then we all went on break for a week, but when we returned they had all died out. Not enough scooby snax to survive I guess.
