So, I played this for a while last night and it was fun, found a server with Operation Metro and 1000 tickets. While there's been quite a while since I played BF2, this surprised me. There were some skilled snipers killing me every now and then but I wasn't compelled to go after them, instead I was compelled of using my support role seriously, i.e providing ammo for those in my team and suppressing anyone trying to rape our base even more.

I might actually buy this, with Premium and all, since this is the account of a friend.

Believe it or not, the game is damn great. For me, it's probably one of the best FPS MP experience ever. And this is coming from one that played the shit out of CS 1.5 and upwards...

Thus I fully understand (and am very close to buy it also) those that got Premium. I still din't get it out of some simple reasons:

- too steep price, not really worth it for some content that MIGHT or should come free
- I don't like Close Quarters
- I have no idea why I should spend my money on 2 DLC's that I have absolutely NO IDEA about (Endgame and Aftermath)

BUT, I would buy it for 3 reasons:

- B2K (still don't have it as I just began to play BF3 - but I NEED Wake Island as it brings memories from BF 1942)
- Armored Kill (love HUGE maps and vehicle warfare)
- stats reset

You must preorder your party before venturing forth.™FOV CalculatorAre you mindful today?Women: Know Your Limits!

Well, it was the only server with enough players at the hour at which I was up last night and I probably won't be playing again, it was way too chaotic.

Ummm... you do know that they didn't even bother bringing elite to the PC version, right? Laughing

...Or maybe they did in that alternate reality you seem to live in

Dear Customer

Thank you for contacting Electronic Arts customer service.

I have reviewed your case as well as your account and I would like to ask you a question. You seem to have a russian version of BF3, can I ask, did you by any chance change the registries to change the language from russian to any other one (like english for example)? Since if a customer applies the registry fix that some websites advertise then the game won't work after an update. I regret to inform you that if you had changes such as these to your registries I can only advise you to uninstall the game, use Ccleaner from www.piriform.com to clean the registries and then install it again and play it in the language of your version.

That guy is weird and the File even more...

Aparantly he did it a short time ago but the file poped up on virustotal a month ago.

After comparing the one he "made" and the original only 2 Values were changed. Took him an hour aparently.

EDIT: After some more digging the first tutorials on this were up in Febuary

to the ones debating buying this gem, expect alot of hacking

BUT

the game is fantastic imo, def the best shooter ever made, not really a fan of the web based UI but its just a minor annoyance, the game itself is just pure genious

I have the english BF3+B2K+CC (no premium). Anyway, it sorted out by itself after about 6 hours. Thanks for the link though.
