The legend tells that the MX518 is forged with Adamantium fibers and self-regenerating biotic cells xD

Probably not far from truth...mine is 8 years old and going strong, best mouse I've ever had.

As stated, the G400 is the new MX518, which was, and this I can say with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever, the best mouse I have ever owned.

Bought myself a G500 today, since my G9x was aging very fast and I already had 2 new ones from Logitech. Don't have time to test it now, but hopefully it's a bit better for my big hands Smile

Razer Lachesis 5600dpi one

After I had a Kensington for 10 years or so I thought it was about time to get a new one (eventho the Kensington still works and have it around).

Went to a few stores, tested out different brands and models and there were some nice candidates, but when I was in the last store and grabbed this one I instantly knew I had to have it. Just fitted perfectly in my hands and when it does that that's a buy!

had a 30% discount, last box there and it was summersale. So I was happy I found a nice fit with a nice discount!

Icon7 Z500. Because I got it for free. And it's the first mouse that still works flawlessly after 4 years.

Had a Logitech MX500 for a long time and when it gave up i switched to a wireless alternative. I chose the Logitech M705 just because it seemed like a good mouse for the money.

I have this one since not so long ago (cant remember exactly) and I love it. Especially the fast-scroll with the switch on top. Only the battery could last a little longer. (at least it has the recharge cord) I had an MX-620 before and it lastet for months even under heavy usage.

DONT DO IT! Laughing

I've went through 3 rat's in a year..all 3 the 'left click' got so sensitive and wore out..that just putting my finger on the button made it click..it didn't even have a 'click' sound anymore.

EDIT: to top it off, the RMA process with them is HORRIBLE. just short of having the feeling of "ok we can take it back if you insist..but it SUCKS TO BE YOU HUH??!"

I'm using this at the moment:

http://steelseries.com/products/mice/steelseries-sensei-raw

It's great but I took it because I'm getting lazy wrist syndrome with my Icon7 (it's profiled for right handed people) while playing some games. But it's even worse with this one Sad

Only way to make this mouse better would be to give it free scroll and scroll tilt (left and right). ^_^

I just picked up the g400 (new mx518) its very good.
Light, quiet, and holds well. Glad to be rid of the last of the 3 rat5's..never again touching one of those POS Laughing
And hopefully lasts as long as my old mx518..it lasted FOREVER. (well it STILL works, but its on my workbench as my mouse for when people bring me towers to fix..)

Guess thats true, but I claw mine..so dont really feel the top much.
But I do like the new rubber texture on the side compared the to 518 plus the inward curve that 'holds' them, since I pick up the mouse with my thumb/pinkie don't have to grip it as hard as the 518 to feel like its not going to slip out while moving like that.

Well, people are having random problems. I've updated to latest version of both FW and SW (1.33 Beta I think) and there's a bug as of now where I can't have the lift off distance lower than 5 clicks from the left (low) or else it stops reading it correctly.
Personally I've had little problems with both SW and HW on this, however there are quite a few people out there who have had nothing but trouble with it. Sad

Like I said, this is an awesome mouse and would be perfect for me if it had free scroll and scroll tilt. ^_^
