The funny thing is that they say "we are not Valve" .. and now the fourht deadline they have given for(atention!) NEWS UPDATE, not release, is going to pass. No, they're not Valve, they always do their job in time Razz

clonecd and there stupid usb drives the only group doing them is clonecd while hardware depended is forbidden and they still don't get it.

You can use a usb enclosure, they're like 20 bucks.


Its second game which needs usb-drive (not sure about Silent hunter 3, it was cracked but what about patches...).
First was Splinter Cell, now Trackmania, lets say there will be one more game which you will want and which will need usb-drive.
Check game prices, compare the sum of them to price of usb enclosure and decide what is better for you (everybody have different needs).
I bought this because I need it anyway and I can confirm that SC:CT works flawlessly :]


They fixed the USB dvd-rom bug so in for future Starforce 3 (up to date) protected game there is at this moment no know way of cloning them.

Starforce didnt fix the USB-hole. Some people just spread rumors about a "new" Starforce version that defeated this USB-hole. But this rumors have already been confirmed as fakes as a far newer Starforce version can still be cloned using the same USB-trick. And by the way some Starforce Nightmare members already stated on some other forums that its almost impossible that Starforce can close this USB-hole! Also there are some other confirmed ways (for example using IDE enabled RAID-controllers) to get clones of Starforce-protected games running.

so i finally bought that game Very Happy
and i highly recommend it. races are fast as hell, puzzles are clever, challenges are...well...challenging

The clone cds for this game came out ages ago,all of them didn't work except for the one from Shadowlord.That one work flawlessly with usb dvdrom.As usual,SFN will be used to hide the IDE cdroms.Just get the IDE2USB adapter,get the working clone and you're set to go.
