No matter what we joke, the high density ("Retina  ") screen is amazing awesome, truly. This is the future. And Apple are among the first to bring it to mainstream. Laugh at their silly prices, laugh at their marketing, etc, but it's true.

You'll never hear me laughing at the Retina displays (well, pretentious naming dipshittery aside) - they're fantastic and most definitely should be the future of ALL displays, be it TV, PC or handheld.
... and that is about the extent of any praise I'll afford Apple. The Retina tech is impressive.
