Why this new flightsim is not out Confused

I have heard very positive comments, not suitable to IFR, no AI traffic control but very marvelous VFR sim.

No demo/trial? That's a pretty good way to have lots of lost sales. Embarassed

I bought it a month ago. It runs ultra fast and smooth. Boots up and in flying in 20 seconds!

It won't be cracked anytime soon I don't think. It uses an online activation with your computer and product serial and creates a file from the two.

It is on two DL-DVDs, I have thought about uploading it as you can try it in a demo like state. You can use limited features and one plane the Cessna without activation. But my upload speed is awful!!

It's worth the price mate. Support this dying genre and buy it Smile

They were talking about digital distribution, but I have no idea where they are up to with that.

For the price of a good FSX addon you can't go wrong with Aerofly

No digital distribution is also a dead end for many, including myself. I don't have a DVD drive in my PC, haven't had one for years.

I hear you. I think these days digital and hard copies should be released together. But not everyone wants/can download 17gb of data.

$65 for a 400mile x 400mile chunk of Switzerland. Eight planes. No traffic. VFR flying only (deal breaker for me). Fake Wx.

Ouch. I'll pass.

But hey, it looks pretty I guess. Supposedly the flight model is OK. It's like MS Flight Lite.

And why the hell would you include an F-18 in such a small area of terrain?

i dunno,i don't like very much the trailers, planes looks good, but the texture of the ground :/

also you can fly only at switzerland i think and it is not bad at all (at least for me,never been there:) but,i will expect better ground details.
also no night flying option.

some basic stuff missing but i am happy that developers still doing this games:)

was playing it for a couple of hours. Not bad, but I remember Xplane being better, weather, and physics as well.. it's ok. Was hoping for more I guess

will try this soon. The thing most flight simulators lack is a good scenery and this just looks so good.. Shocked

How did they even accomplish that?

Accomplish what?Don't expect anything groundbreaking. It is just more crisp and the ground textures/mesh have a better resolution. The scenery detail still lacks a bit.Don't get me wrong though, this is a very good flight sim but right now the content available is minimal.Only Switzerland, 8 planes, if I'm not mistaken, no VFR scheduling, no traffic AI, only daylight....that's it.14 gb for this content only.
