He doesn't lent voice to Blacklist, so I guess multiple fans wrote to him about how horrible Conviction was.

But he said in a couple of interviews that he's not a gamer.

According to dev twitter:

1. You can drag & hide bodies again. ( this was seen in E3 video by a glimpse of a key prompt when near a body)
2. You can whistle to catch the enemy's attention (this was seen in the gameplay vid)
3. You can choose between lethal&non lethal.

Not so bad in fact, but deffinitely not so great. Too arcade,too easy and childish gameplay.Combined with too much Rambo style.

So they got Ironside to promote his own replacement? Surprised


I thought he was talking about the first game and how they created Sam Fisher. At first he found it very shallow, then they talked about how to do it better, which was used to create the character. Or did I completely misinterpret it? (at work now and can't review the video atm)

So far from what I've seen it doesn't require you to move much or press much buttons. Just slightly move forward = activate QTE. Press 1 button = Kill everyone, repeat. WTF????

Yeah this might not be that bad. As long as I have the choice like in dx between stealth and noise, i'll be happy. Besides, I played first two SCs full lethal, it wasn't until Chaos Theory that it really clicked for me and I finished the game with 100% stealth rating.

If you remove the Splinter Cell part from the title, I guess you could say it wasn't that bad.

If you look at it as completely new IP, you could say it's just another crate shooter with a couple of cheats masquerading as features.
