it was pretty good. loved the chick, the black guy, the nazis of course and that office rwho took them at the station on earth had the best line in the movie  8/10

Prometheus 9/10 - True prequel to the first Alien movie, immensely stunning in 3D, suspense was top quality. Great characters and story and progression. Left me wanting more.
Would not have wanted to see this on the 50" HDTV at home.

Safe 7/10 and Iron Sky 6/10
Safe was what you would expect in a Statham-driven movie. Good mindless action.
Iron Sky was all over the place, but some bits were really funny/good. I liked how they parodied that scene from the Hitler movie (as well as couple of other bits), and teh Nazi base/stuff was pretty cool.

Watched last night, great movie. Granted it didn't wow me quite in the way i thought it would but it left me wanting a sequel which isn't a bad thing in my book. One of those movies i can't wait to watch again. A given buy for me when the Blu-Ray comes out.
Battleship
I really hate the trend with movies based on toys and board-games. I really wanted to hate this movie and that was one of the reasons i held back in watching it. But after giving a watch i have to admit that it was a fun movie to watch. Dumb fun but fun none the less. I won't be rewatching this one a whole lot i don't think but if you are boored there are probably worse movies you could lend your time to.

 Spoiler: | its a decent prequel movie nothing great about it imo.
couple of things bothers me.
- fiefield & milburn get lost in ship but they got "puppies" and they know the coordinates about where they are but still they're getting lost? LOL
- elizabeth's stomach just stitched and running like fuckin hell? i mean WTF?
- ship crew just volunteered for dying in a second not even second thought? ( crew not the captain)
- also i didnt like the xpand 3D. if you got #IMAX3D in your local city/town go for it but not for xpand3D or real3D. its fuckin disappointing.. |

The first few minutes gave me a mix of Alien and 2001 Space odyssey feeling but the script went nowhere fast and then wanted to be everywhere which didnt go so well. Good not great.
