Just saw this on 9gag
Apparently, some kids in our high schools thought that their finals were too hard, up to the point where they made their parents write complaints to our goverment about them.
Tests. In high school. -.-
In the last few years, the finals have been standardised for all high schools, everybody takes the same tests at the same time.
When I was I high school, there wasn't a standard test, teachers made a new one each year, and I did fine. It was a bit easier I suppose because the teachers formulated the tests based on which part of the curriculum they most focused on. There were little to no suprises.
But a couple of years later when I applied to go to a second college I was forced to take the new standardised test(because apparently my old high school diploma wasn't valid anymore -.-) and it wasn't that hard. I had to study all that high school crap again, by myself. And I still passed.
This new trend of parents jumping on the teachers and the tests for being to hard, rather then bitchslapping those lazy fucks they call their kids, is really getting on my nerves.
End rant -.-

@Nalo:
They can be lazy all they want. Hell, I was lazy to the point of being catatonic in high school.
But I never bitched about the difficulty of a test if I spent the week before playing games or going out, which I usually did.

Damn I remember when in high school 12 A4 pages of material for a test seemed hard or final exams where we had max 50 pages. Now in the uni iit seems damn ez since I have these 50 pages tests practically every week and sometimes 2-3 times a week. By those pages I mean the actual amount of info I need to know by heart. Of course the more I study the better my memory gets.

Its not unbelieveable that kids are lazy little shits, what is unbelievable is that the parents actually gave in and wrote to the school. If my son asked me to do this I would set him extra bloody homework on top of his school work.
Every fucker wants everything handed to them on a plate, what happened to working for what you want?

Heard this on the radio, prime minister said he will personally examine the test and, if they were indeed too hard, he will dismiss all of them.

Well, it's not like we have 400 000 unemployed out of a population of 4 million for him to worry about.
Good to see he has his priorities set and time well allocated.

The problem with such tests is that the government loves to change them every 1-2 years. So if you're lucky, you'll be unprepared for a harder test since the teachers did not prepare you for it. Which means you're fucked.
