Curt Schilling is gambling like the big boys now. He ether put everything at stake for that MMO or he is running something completely different:

Unfortunate but I'm not surprised they have economical problems since they had this game, a MMO version and a sequel in development and then this first title fails to reach the expected sales which naturally puts pressure on the other games situation since the money is not being recovered or how it's called.

Would have been nice with some support for the game instead of releasing the two DLC as fast as possible to try and improve the situation but it's understandable, must be quite chaotic for them now in that situation.

Wonder what will happen, kinda similar to how Flagship went under with Hellgate isn't it?

What are you talking about man? I'm 35 hours into this game, did about 130 quests and the only bugs i encountered were some left over texts that wouldnt disappear until i reloaded the game.

This game is gold.

i was bugless aswell. not smart to immediately point the finger at 38 studios either. the publisher is EA.

shit, flat out curt basically said on gaf at one point they hadn't been able to do a patch because EA's funding was elsewhere

Nothing gamebreaking here yet but there's a lot of little item glitches, you can drop some quest items at certain stages and a number of items are set as quest items forever so you'll never get rid of them and apparently the game can bug if you explore too far ahead from where the main quest is.
(Which is probably why they place these high-level mobs there to still allow some exploration but with a drastic increase in difficulty for lower level players.)

Hmm I think there was something else too, maybe some items missing a proper drop location but it appears the game is much more random than I thought at first so while you can find some parts of a set or many unique items of similar levels completing the collection can be impossible.
(Unsure if there's a random drop chance for those items, never really found good loot from normal enemies.)

The locked level scaling and other balance concerns aren't really bugs but there's a lot of opinions about those parts of the game as well though I'm pretty OK with how things are.
(Level limit is a bit low perhaps but that's quite minor.)

Oh wait, good point. Yes I have one bug of note; a couple of quest items still in my inventory despite the quest being over. Can't sell or drop them. Nothing even remotely gamebreaking though.

Yeah I have twenty or so books picked up from all over, some are clearly part of a quest and others weren't removed after said quest was completed but many others are just small notes or diaries with no real function other than lore.
(I tend to read and find all books by exploring everywhere and stealing everything so I've quite a collection of weird items now, many of them are a bit humorous as well.)

Ah, my apologies then. I wasn't aware the 360 version was buggier since I've got the PC one. Well in that case, the simple answer is to stop playing the broken 360 version and grab the PC release instead! ^_^

I spent 120 hours, in the game. I still don't have an explanation for it.
That relieve me of the need of having to play any other hack and slash game for the next year or so. I'll pass D3, and will get my fix again with Grim Dawn.

Looks a lot more detailed and a lot better than KoA. Bastards. I guess KoA was a test project to get familiar with the engine and get some moneh.

That's a god damned shame Sad I, for one, positively adore Kingdoms of Amalur and was looking forward to more from the series and studio. To hear that it's being shut down is a damned shame indeed Sad
