My keyboard is 4 dollars. It works perfectly. To prevent liquids spilling into it I covered it with transparent plastic

Ash from cigarettes could possibly burn or damage the electronics inside.

When i spill something in my keyboard, i throw it in the dishwasher. I'm serious, google it.
When the dishwashers done running, take the KB out while the dishwasher's steam drying everything. Now turn it upside down, let it drip dry for 2-3 days, should work fine again. I have 2 different KB's i do this with.

rofl and a dishwasher is actually the worst thing to do to a kb due to that the shacking can actually loosen the mechanicall parts or damage other parts just rinsing it in hot water is the best way
