GTX 670 not 670 GTX.

Looks good. Prices of these new cards are a bit much to tempt me atm when the GTX 570 i have is doing everything.

Yeah, most of the benchmarks are pretty much 20-25% performance increase ... and that's just not enough for me to even begin justifying another €350+ pay out. I'll just grab a second 570 down the line if I really need the performance. However, this is certainly a great option for people that are still waiting to upgrade and can't justify the cost of a 680. Almost 680-level performance for $100/€100 cheaper.

Suffering from early adopter regret because it looks like my 680 is one that was on the verge of being binned to 670 Razz

GPU "boost" being as crap as it is doesn't help either Sad

Wonder how long this will take to drop to the $300 - $330 dollar range? My SLI'ed 460's are still kicking ass, with their only noticeable failing being that they can't run BF3 at ultra smoothly due to the 1024 MB VRAM limit. Tempted to upgrade, I just need the price to drop some.

Yes it is shit, especially if you play with V-Sync enabled - even Adaptive V-Sync. When you're running fine at 60 FPS it disables its boost even when it's only at 40% TDP. Once your FPS drops below 60 it takes a second for it to realise that before it clocks back up, but by that time the FPS has already dropped - something that may have been avoided or have reduced effect if you had been able to fix the clocks. End result? Highly unstable FPS.

Even in BF3, where I've got V-Sync disabled entirely, my FPS literally ranges from 55 to 110 without me moving or looking around. It's completely random and it's annoying as hell. It doesn't matter if the average is 80 when it's that unstable, because you do notice it.

And don't get me started on the multi monitor support which is still shit after all these years or their "amazing" Linux support which was supposed to better than AMD's. Game performance is good obviously, but I'm quite disappointed with the software support. Just give me an option to disable Boost entirely and get AMD to fix the multi monitor support :@

I don't see any of these stuttering issues you refer to, and i've used SLI on a number of occasions and can see the microstutter from that.

Don't think it will happen soon. It's almost kicking 680's ass.

I've just seen the benchmarks, good but I really don't see any rational reason to abandon my 570, especially since there aren't demanding games on the horizon (maybe except for the next Metro). Things will probably change when the next generation of consoles will be released, though

Same setup here. My two SLi 460's run all games smoothly. I did notice Sniper 2 on Ulta settings did stutter a few times, but other than that I plan on not upgrading for awhile.

Just got my EVGA 680 card, and its broken ^_^ fan makes unbeliavable rattling noise, gonna send it back and get 130e cheaper Gigabyte GTX 570 Windforce 3x model which is pretty much as fast when overclocked (sometimes faster) -.-. Cant believe this shit, waited like over month to get this shit, would have been more annoying if it would have worked and now saw that 670 is pretty much the same Very Happy

I don't have that boost problem as much as you do. The only annoying thing I have is when I turn on the frame limiter I get micro stutter :S

You sure that's not boost in combination with the limiter (which has the same effect as adaptive V-Sync)? Because that's exactly what I'm experiencing, and when I look at my clocks in AB or GPU-Z they're spiking up and down like crazy.

Is it the same as adaptive V-sync? With the frame limiter you can go higher then 60 FPS and it's doesn't give you mouse lag, which (adaptive) V-sync does. I haven't checked my clocks if they are spiking.
