Ok, once and for all, allow me to explain the reason why I had a conflict with Injurious. After posting my sig thread (half-expecting to get flamed to death, not without good cause obviously), I tried to be nice when recieving the "17 4r3 t3h suxx0rz0rz"-type comments. Injurious, on the other hand, decided to make it into a fucking freak show, and went above and beyond his usual capabilities to humiliate me in every way he could. I don't know what someone like that is called where you are, but where I live, the type of person that picks a scapegoat and does all in his power to make himself feel better by making his target of choice feel worse, is called an asshat. That is a title that more than suits Injurious.
To be honest, I'm somewhat fascinated by the general tendency of a mass of people to sacrifice one of themselves to amuse themselves. Look at executions, for example. Not the lethal injections in a private audience of today, but the public executions of old: people were executed merely to amuse the rest of society. While today's trends rarely end in death, the tendency to single out and attack a random member of a community by it's remaining members is fucking sick, and I do want to understand what makes something as supposedly evolved as a modern person do something so brutally inhuman. Injurious served the role of the inquisitioner (or whatever organ physically executing the act) and the rest of you just sat by and watched idly, rather amused by it all. I never saw the allure of this, so if one of you could explain your view of it, I am interested to hear it.
Another interesting contrast is that, should someone new to this site start similar posting, they would immediately be banned. Why?
As for me posting threads you are not interested in or dislike reading about, this is an internet message board. My post is not a pop-up. You don't have to click on it. Going into a post with the intention to flame is called being an asshat. Yes, by creating the thread I ask you to look inside it. That doesn't mean that I'm forcing you. You can just as easily ignore the thread as rush into it knowing you are going to flame me. It takes 0.2 cm of movement to scroll down the page. If you know that you're going into somewhere to flame, it's my opinion that it's best not to go.

It's funny because of the way you react to it too.
It's most definitely not 'brutally inhuman', don't be so fucking pathetic, get out in the real world and you'll see just how brutal it can be beyond being flamed on an internet forum. Comparing flaming to the type of segregation that goes on in the real world just shows how naive you really are.

I'm not comparing the severity of events. Comparing getting flamed to some of the things that happen in RL deserves it's own Godwin... I was comparing the behavior pattern (a group singling out an individual and attacking him) of the two scenarios. Sorry if I did not make this clear.

i prefer someone mocking me in real life than in some forums.
the only way you can counterattack in forums is with words, and words dont mean anything, a word of some 13 year old lil fag against my word, how about he speaks to me face to face? i dont think he would.
the problem is, lets say someone insults your family, and you really hold them dear to yourself.
ok some ppl might not have a problem with that, but i m someone who gets really pissed off by something like that.
ok he does it in real life, i beat him to pulp, he learns a lesson and goes outta my way in future.

D_A_Kuja, if you get so worked up over comments on a forum, it's rather pathetic in itself. I guess you've still got alot to learn, because once you're an adult if you try to solve all your disputes with violence you'll end up in jail.

you dont solve adult disputes with violence, but someone insulting your mother isnt the way of an adult either, so i apply violence, you cant solve everything with arguments, you re a human with emotions and not a machine. no matter what there is no way to react to such an insult in any different way than to fuck his face up, if you think differently, you re not an adult as you may think (you re just a kid dont fool yourself boy),
you re simply afraid or have little self respect. |

well i m not a muslim, i m a christian but i grew up in bosnia. thats not the point though, the thing is that my family went through alot so we grew very close to each other, so when some little shitbag insults my mother its just so fuckin unfair.
