One thing that IMO they should fix, but which carried over from the original game AFAIK, is having the proper sword already drawn when you transition from a dialog/cutscene to a fight.

Mahakam Rune Sihil sword is now imported from TW1 game saves to New Game.
Wasn't it already working?

CD Projekt to announce ‘something truly extraordinary’ on April 5
Quote:
CD Projekt RED has revealed that it’s to announce ‘something truly extraordinary’ on April 5th.
Within a press release announcing that The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition has now gone gold, we captured this little nugget.
“The game will be released in over two weeks, but I think we will surprise players in the following weeks. On the 5th of April we will host a conference and announce something truly extraordinary – so be sure to watch our live stream at 5 p.m. GMT that day.” Said Marcin Iwiński, joint-CEO pf CD Projekt RED.
Could CD Projekt be set to announce The Witcher 3? Could we be set to see some new and ‘extraordinary’ dlc? Who knows, but we’ll be watching.
Which book I should be reading to get Max out of story
I've read them all and i don't think you will get the story by reading only one. Game's story is after book's story. Better read them all. Slowly but all.
I would love to read them in English, but sadly, as far as I know, only 1 of them has been translated.

Might be a stupid question, but are those the first two books?
The reason I'm asking is because translating only the third book of a trilogy isn't unheard-of.
Godamn stupid, but unfortunately it wouldn't be the first time.

It is the first two books. But the first one is more of a "stand alone" book, though very good. Blood of Elves are the start of the serie, so I'm hoping they will continue to translate them because they are good.
First book is not quite from the story. Its like bunch of stories collected in one book. And im pretty sure one of these stories is about the intro movie of the first game. Then there is another 6 volumes and last volume has two parts. (So 8 in total)
Recently i found one book which contains some other fantasy stories from Sapkowksi + One extra story for Geralt's parents.

The translation of the next books is supposed to be released this year if I remember right. I haven't read the two already translated books yet since I only have them on the PC and I'm not really keen on reading them like this. I must though...

Yes, that true the intro is indeed one of the stories in the book.
Frankly, the first 2 books (short stories collections about Geralt) - "The sword of destiny" and "The last wish" are far superior to the saga itself. Couldn't even finish it.

I wouldn't call them superior, more like different. The first two books are more like a collection of quests. Each short story deals with a different event in a life of a witcher and you really get to know the character. It builds the foundation to the saga.
On the other hand, the saga itself is all about the world, the races, the politics of kings and wizards. A major part of the story involves Fate and whether one can change it. Even though the books compliment each other, they are also quite different and usually people have a preference for one or the other.
I'm really curious about the next book, should be quite interesting considering the way the saga ends.
