Unless you're on the move a lot and or is a die hard fan of the series theres not much point to a handheld persona 4.
The PCSX2 emulator handles that game very well and theres no significant differences between the ps2 version and the ps vita version other than it being portable.
I am what some might consider a 'die hard' fan of the Megaten series/universe, I bought all the other games that got released in english versions and played translated versions of the first ones on NES and SNES emus, and I won't be picking this one up.

Cool that you became a die hard fan in such a short time, but can see why, since SMT games are unique in many ways.
Persona 4 on handheld sounds really awesome btw. Might consider getting a Vita afterall...hmmm maybe import from the states...

Yeah perhaps. But with classics such as persona4 and ninja gaiden it´s very tempting to get one! Also with the curency rate sweden-usa makes it an ok deal.

PC market is really lacking in good dungeon crawlers, of course I'd become a fan when I happen upon a series of games thats nothing but.

true true...wouldnt mind a renaissence with new ultima underworld, eye of the beholder, or something close to it...
News about P4 made me want to bring psp to bed and play some persona3 btw.
And maybe even give 2 a chance. Guess it was released for psp last fall? Anyone played it?

It's a great game, though the random encounters gets a bit silly when you just try to get one room down the hall in the school you have to go through 4-5 encounters. And it gets worse still when you start going around town.
Really cool feature being able to start rumours though and see them actually 'coming true' in the world.
This also works against your party on quite a few instances.
Works fine on jpcsp btw so you can potentially play it on a bigscreen.
