|
 |
Hey guys. A friend of mine recently described what sounds like an animated wallpaper. He said that the background was of the ocean, but it was "moving".
Have any of you heard or seen anything about this? He said he googled it but only came back with malware annoyances. Any ideas or anyone know what he might be talking about?

Ah cool. Thanks Sabin! I'll pass that along.
@Nalo: It wasn't a screen saver but I appreciate your input nonetheless!

If I remember correctly, MPEG2 videos work best as wallpapers, because they are the easiest to decode out of the supported formats. But still not really worth the performance, memory and disk read footprint.

Nope, it was a Vista Ultimate exclusive, which got canned after Vista.

I'll pass this info along as well, just as a heads-up. I don't plan on using it, but my friend is considering it for sure.
